Safety Audits

Your APIS safety audit closely examines the overall safety of your property.

For example; your report will contain information relating to handrails, windows and ventilation, floor surfaces and fire/electrical safety and access to the property.

According a report by Monash University for Victorian injury surveillance and applied research, and Vic health-, one third of all deaths and one quarter of emergency admissions were a result of an injury obtained in
homes.

As a Landlord you have a duty of Care to make sure the property is safe for the tenant who is occuping the property.

OWNER:   Under the Work Place Health and Safety Act 1995 is defined to include a person who has control of or manages a workplace and a leessee, licensee, mortgagee in possion and a receiver or company administrator.

An APIS safety audit also looks at accessibility issues for emergency services, how secure your property is and what steps can be taken to improve security measures.
